Mesotherapy Using Hyaron

 After starting with the BAP technique when injecting Hyaron (more info here) I decided I'd give mesotherapy a try. Meso consists of injection points around 1 cm apart. That's a lot of pricking with a needle yet is a popular technique used in the DIY beauty world.

I used a 30gx4mm tip on the prefilled syringe. After reviewing the video, I did notice that I injected closer than the 1cm which in itself is not an issue but it's unneccessary.

If I'm honest, I much prefer the BAP technique. Much quicker and still effective because the product spreads. However, some biostimulators have a high likelihood of causing reactions such as swelling, so are better injected in smaller amounts all over rather than more product in fewer points. With practice I'm sure it would get easier. Even with my first try I began to get into a rhythm that made the process a little easier. To be fair, I am still so new to DIY that it's going to take time to perfect techniques that work for me.

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
