Holo-riffic Nails
I don't know if you love holo nail polishes like I do, well, I hope you so, because I compiled my latest nail looks inspired by the special holo finish.
These are the holgraphic polishes in my collection. I used some of these to complete the following nail looks.
This is a gradient I created, although the thumb is the typical bottom to top gradient, I thought I'd try something different with my other nails- side to side gradient.
This mani I created using the cling wrap method, explained here.
Using tape to protect the holo polishes, I was able to paint on black stripes.
For this mani, I began with an orange to purple gradient, I then stamped some diamond designs over the top. The holo wasn't as opaque as I had expected, so the design is quite subtle.
This design was created quite easily. Over a holo base colour, I used crackle polishes for the effect.
Well, that's the holo fun I've been up to lately :)

Looks like you've been having a ball Indie :D All your creations look fantastic! My fave has to be the colourful holo at the top. I adore purple and gold and the way you have used the two holo polishes together just looks amazing. I wish I had nails that look as lovely as yours :D
ReplyDeleteThank you, lovely. The top one is my fave, too. If only I could grow my nails! xx
DeleteI love holos!
ReplyDeleteThe top is my favourite design, but all the others look super fun too! :)
Thanks hun. I love how sparkly holos are, without the pain of removal :)
DeleteOh my Indie, you have been having lots of fun! Love them all, but I've pinned the first one - sigh, the colours are just so gorgeous together, and doing the gradient from side to side is another one of your amazing innovations xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you, gorgeous. Although, I can't take credit for the gradient, yep, I have Pinterest to thank xx
