Mirenesse 24 Hr Eye Liner in "Purple Rain"

Not exactly in need of another eye liner, but after seeing a demonstration on TVSN, I couldn't help myself but purchase Mirenesse Secret Weapon 24Hr Eye Liner in "Purple Rain".

 The purple liner has a glossy finish that is expected to last up to 24 hours. It includes a precision tip, making it a versatile tool.
I just love Mirenesse packaging, so beautiful, yet practical. I bought a trial size, just to be sure that I liked it before committing to a full size.
As you can see, the wand has quite a fine brush.

I just love the violet purple shade. It isn't so apparent in the pic, but this liner does have a glossy finish.

It does some getting used to using the applicator brush, but I really love the result.

I really love that, although you have time to apply, it sets smudgeproof, yet retains that glossiness. The eye liner really does last throughout wear, no smudging or flaking. 24 hours, I can't say that I have had the liner on to test this claim, but I can't see me ever needing it to last this long.

Although this liner stays in place, removal is super easy. Warm water is all you need. I just find that washing in the shower cleanses all traces from my lids, and because of the unique formula, there is no smudging.

Mirenesse has delivered a winner with this liquid liner, I certainly will be buying a full size!

    I so wanted that pack but it sold out on TVSN. It was the mascara that I was really after. The liner looks gorgeous.

      I love their mascara. The liner is such a gorgeous colour and finish, I just need to get more practice so I can find it easier to apply :)

    What a gorgeous colour! I've had a real hit/miss with some of Mirenesse products, some are of amazing quality!

      I totally agree, as much as I have some products that I love, some Mirenesse products just don't cut it, especially for their higher end price point

    Righty ho, this one is on my list - adore the glossy finish hon, and I love that you kept it all so fine on your eyes :-) Their gold one in this range is fab, so I'll be getting my hot little paws on this purple version for sure ♥

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it.
