ANOTHER Gradient NOTD :P

I know that the gradient has been done over and over again, but you know what? I still love it, I love seeing it, I enjoy creating it. So, here's my latest offering of a gradient based nail look.
Using a simple white base colour, the Maybelline Color Show is a decent white, I then performed the gradient with some basic pastel colours. Well, except for my feature nail, which is a water decal. I much prefer these to stickers because I find that they don't lift like my experience with stickers have in the past.



What do you think? Are you over the gradient, or still love it like I do? :)

    With manis like this Indie, I could NEVER be over the gradient - adore all the different colours you've used (absolutely mad about the spearmint one) and the feature nail is a beauty :-)

    So cute! I haven't tried a gradient look, did you use a makeup sponge to dab on the colour? Love the colours you've used here!

      Thanks hun. I used a plain sponge, one that you'd wash a car with. I like how dense they are, and the texture that they give the gradient look :)

    I love how you've combined all different colours too. It looks really sweet and creative....plus ultra eye catching!

    I absolutely love the gradient look and of course the green one has caught my eye :-) but also loving the purple and pink. I've seen them before but have never tried them cause I'm not 100% sure of what you do.

      Awww, thank you so much, Mandy! Gradients aren't too hard, I found youtube to be my friend, lol, I watched plenty, then practiced until I found a way that worked for me xx

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
