Lipstick Love- Boe Professional Lipstick in "Primped"

Boe is a brand that is exclusive to Big W. Initially, the products didn't really appeal to me. However, once the Professional range was released, my interest was piqued. but not to the point of buying anything. Well, the joys of winning a prize! Thank you Christina, I am now an owner of a Boe Professional lipstick!

This swatch of "Primped" shows you just how moisturising this lipstick is.


I was so impressed with "Primped". Easy to apply and felt nice on my lips. This particular shade wasn't completely opaque, but I don't mind a sheerer dark colour, as it can be built up and I am less likely to go overboard.

I'm sure I will be spending more time at the Boe display next time I'm at Big W.

    Such a gorgeous colour!! I like Boe's stuff but don't live near a big W so I don't own many of their products.

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
