Makeup Revolution Chocolate and Peaches Palette

As soon as I saw that Makeup Revolution had a cheeky little dupe of the TF Peach Palette, I knew it had to mine. Plus I have the other MR Chocolate Palettes so I now feel the need to buy every palette release. I was good waiting until my Christmas/birthday haul before purchasing. I love the peachy colour of the chocolate bar packaging.

The shades are similar to the original Too Faced version, but obviously not the same, because there's less shadows in total in this palette. Oh, and there's no peach scent either. A huge sniff of the shadows only provided me with that generic eye shadow smell, slightly chemical, not something I am a huge fan of sniffing, lol.



Not a fan of the applicator, but that's no surprise. I generally throw sponge applicators away. Now onto the swatches!


I am impressed with this palette! The shimmers are beautiful and pigmented. The mattes are great to use as they are smooth and blend well. My eye look remained the same at the end of the day as when I applied the eye shadow, no fading what-so-ever.

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
