To Repurchase Or Not To Repurchase- L'Oreal Nude Magic BB Cream

I love BB creams. Some days I like to forget foundation, but still want to wear something on my face that at least evens skintone. In the past, I had only tried Eastern BB Creams, which are known to be the best that you can get your hands on.
I finally ventured into the world of Western BB Creams, when I needed a replacement, and didn't have the time to wait for delivery. Reluctantly, I purchased L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream in Light.

The product comes in a tube with small nozzle that allows the cream to be squeezed through. I must admit that the novelty of the cream beginning white, but applying tinted, intrigued me enough to try it. Unlike the thick consistency of BB Creams that I have tried in the past, this product was almost a lotion. It spread easily on my skin and absorbed quickly. I had a touch dry finish, but my skin felt hydrated. It does have an SPF of 12, I would prefer something with more sun protection, but I did find that wearing in the cooler months was fine.
Would I repurchase? Probably not, but not because I didn't like the BB Cream. It was more like tinted moisturiser, however, the tint was lovely. My skin appeared dewy with a more even skin tone. I like how light it felt on my skin. The only reason why I most likely wouldn't buy again in the future is only because  I have found a BB Cream that I have fallen in love with, but more on that in the near future :)

  1. I've tried the L'oreal CC creams :) you know the ones that come in the three different shades for different skin tones. I loved everything except for the fact that they left my skin orange! I looked like an oompa loompa. Such a shame :(
I think the CC creams are similar to this BB cream :)

    1. Oh no! It's a shame that the colour didn't suit, Gemma :/

  2. Your review sounds similar to my experience with my Nude by Nature BB cream... It felt more like a tinted moisturizer with SPF. Ok on a good skin day though!

  3. Might just have to try this for those natural days in the summer when I need a light, natural glow! Thank you :-)
