Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Color "Firefly"

Sally Hansen really have such a broad range when it comes to nail polish. I have quite a few from this brand of nail polishes in my collection. I always check out the displays in store. Many times succumbing to a shade that catches my eye.
 "Firefly" is a copper to bronze.

This colour shifting shade is a great polish for Autumn. I love the warmth of this colour and the metallic finish.

    This is a beautiful rose gold shade. I've got two colours from this range: scarab (rich, "beetle wing" green) & azure (brilliant blue). The green is rich & opaque yet the azure isn't. It looks fantastic in the bottle, but no matter how many coats I put on, it's a let down. I've found this with a lot of Sally Hansen products, the quality is inconsistent between different colours in the same range. I might check this shade out.

      I have Scarab, also, and am now glad that I didn't buy Azure. I totally agree, some SH polishes are absolutely fantastic, others are really crap quality.

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
