ColourPop Lippie Stix in Lumiere
What a popular brand ColourPop has become. I couldn't let the hype go by without trying some products for myself. Because I have been trying a lot of lipsticks on for blog purposes, I only had the chance to try "Lumiere" once. I fell in love with this mauve brown shade instantly. Stay tuned for a review of ColourPop in the near future, which of course will include swatches.
This concealer has been helping reduce the look of my dark under eye circles. The peach really works to neutralize the darkness. Being a colour corrector, I wear this under foundation. I still use a concealer on top of my foundation, but it's more to highlight the area under my eyes,
L'Oreal Delicioux Blush in "Golden Apricot"
I've rediscovered my love of this blush. I like how it adds warmth to my cheeks, giving a bronzed peachy flush of colour. I find it very flattering.
I have been using this little bottle everyday for so many purposes. Mineral water and a few drops of lavender are the only ingredients in this DIY spritz. I use it after I tone, a setting spray and a foiling medium for eye shadows. Easy to make and cheap, too!
Be Enlightened Diffuser in Vanilla
This diffuser smells so yummy. Caramel, chocolate, vanilla such a delicious blend. It's a wonderful Winter fragrance for the home. Lasts for months and really does permeate throughout a room. Looks nice, too!
I've been powering through Hart of Dixie. It's difficult, because I want to watch episode after episode, but will be sad when I get to the end. It is light entertainment, a great way to unwind and relax.
I was impressed by 2 movies I saw in July, Whiplash and Still Alice. Both definitely worth watching.
My fave song of July would have to be "Like I'm Going To Lose You". I feel sorry for anyone in the immediate radius of these tunes, I can't help but sing along, the eternal romantic that I am. Thankfully, I play the song really loud, so it drowns out most of my wailing, lol.

What a great post! I think I'm the last person on earth to try colour pop as I still haven't! I'll have to see if Netflix in Canada has the Hart of Dixie... I've heard a few people say it's a good one and I need something I can sink my teeth into! ;)

DeleteGreat favourites! I really do need to get a diffuser for my bathroom! I love entering a beautifully scented bathroom, or any room for that matter!
ReplyDeleteA lovely fragrance is great for the home. I have one for the toilet, bedroom and living area. Diffusers are my fave.

ReplyDeleteThanks beautiful lady! I can't get away with swatching heaps of lipsticks, so it's a pain how long it takes to complete a blog post when wearing a lipstick a day. Hopefully, I'll have it up soon xx
