Lipstick Love- Covergirl Outlast Lipstick in "Forever Fawn"
This is the first Outlast Lipstick that I've tried. Yeah, I've seen them in the Covergirl displays, but I was never tempted to try them. Thank you Christina for including one of these in your generous Instagram giveaway!
Doe foot applicator.
"Forever Fawn" is a great nude shade for me.
The Covergirl Outlast Lipstick is a great option when you need a lipstick to last and last...and last. I found the longevity to be fantastic.
Application of this liquid lipstick is easy with the doe foot wand. The formula is a great consistency, not too thick or thin, so it just smooths across the lips, but it is controllable.
It dries fairly quickly, but there's ample application time, something I certainly need. I did find that you don't want to rub your lips together at the tacky stage, because this will cause a patchy finish.
I find that when set, it can feel drying on the lips, but that's expected with a matte liquid lipstick.
With the included balm, you can go from matte to gloss in a simple swipe. This step will also feel hydrating on the lips. This is a good option for me. Some days my lips are fine with matte lipsticks, other days they will feel so dried out that they feel uncomfortable and raw.
Applied with the balm on top.

You know, I looked at the pic of the lippie and thought, boy thats a pretty colour! Lol :) glad you like it, looking beautiful as always!! Xo
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to have had the opportunity to try this lipstick, thanks to you, lovely xx
DeleteI've been a big fan of the two-step long-lasting lippies for years. I've tried L'Oreal Infallibles & MNY 24hr Superstay but my current fave is Rimmel Provocalips. I haven't tried the Covergirl. This colour is a good nude, some nudes look like concealer. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this nude! The first 2-step long-lasting lippie I tried was the L'Oreal Infallible, love it! Must try the Provocolips range :)
DeleteThis is such a gorgeous shade, and really suits you! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you! I tend to shy away from nudes, but found this one to look good with my colouring xx
