Stocktake 2015- Nail Polishes

I am a sucker for a pretty nail polish. They often catch my eye, and I often can't resist. Hence my hoarding love affair.



My nail polishes on display, don't they look so organized?
Set of plastic drawers that store polishes that don't fit on the shelves.
The cardboard box of nail polishes that don't fit in the plastic drawers are not so organized.

Having a total of 407 nail polishes means my no-buy for these kind of lacquers should last and last and maybe even a bit longer than that...

What beauty products are you out of control with?

    I've got a large box full of polishes, but not quite 407! I wish I could find a nice way of displaying them!

      It took me a while to find a way to store them that I liked. I finally decided on a set of shelves, love being able to see some of what I have, lol

    Your collection looks incredible! I would imagine that it'd be hard to store 407 polishes but your drawers make it look so neat! This makes me want to go out and buy more polishes :)

      It's hard to keep track of what I own, sometimes it's like a nice surprise when I come across a polish that I'd forgotten about.

      100 nail polishes is a lot! I was actually surprised I came to the number I did when I counted them all. I would love to see your lipstick collection! xx

    I've got more nail polish & eye shadow palettes than I really need, but after seeing your collections for both, I know I'm not too bad. I've got a question for you: what's your #1 nail polish brand?

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
