A nail polish that I had been meaning to try for a while is Color Craze "Baby Blue" from LA Colors. Not only is it true to its name, it also has a lovely frosted shimmer that runs through the polish.
Blue isn't my favourite nail polish shade, but I think this colour is so pretty. A beautiful soft shade for Spring.
When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over! Taken from BH Cosmetics - "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power." The palette is a large square with magnet closure and complete with a cardboard sleeve. The palette is so pretty, I love the rose gold writing on the quilted pintuck background design. Opening the palet...
I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette. It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. Let's take a peek inside Oh yes, I'm all about those warm orange and plum tones. There are 3 shimmery shades and the rest are matte. Here's the sw...
I was once again sucked into buying some bargain products from Ozsale . Part of my order was 4 serums from the brand It's Skin. Being a Korean brand I really wanted to try some products. I couldn't find a lot of information about It's Skin online, but the Power 10 Formula range sounded pretty good. I really wanted to try them all at once, but to get an idea of how each serum performed I restrained myself by using one serum at a time. The first one I tried was the VC Effector. The serum is no longer available on Ozsale, but I found it for sale on Beauty Bay - "A clarity improving skin serum designed for all skin types. Enriched with a blend of naturally derived, active ingredients, the It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector worfs effectively to reduce the appearance of discolouration and dark spots. With a lightweight serum texture its quickly absorbed into the skin offering brightening and lightening effects, whilst simultaneously suppressing melanin prod...
