Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment

I was kindly sent a pre-shampoo hair treatment for consideration from the Australian owned, not only natural, but 100% organic company, Hair&Me.

A little background information on the founders. Hair&Me is owned by a husband-and-wife team. Co-founder Jessica, when expecting a baby, took maternity leave from her successful hairdressing career. With no less than 10 years experience, she had the passion to create her own hair care range. With herself and customers in mind, Jessica was able to provide hair care to suit any and all hair types.

Taken from the Hair&Me website- "Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment is 100% organic. It is an oil based product, using coconut, macadamia, jojoba and almond oil- designed to help repair, moisturise and strengthen your hair and scalp."

The treatment is packaged in a large sachet style bag, with a handy screw top lid.

Coconut oil will solidify in cool temperatures, so popping the mask in the fridge ensures an easier consistency for application. Rather than applying a liquid, it becomes more of a creamy mask. Less messy than an oil or even a cream.

As with most oil based products, a little goes a long way. It is easy to over do it, so it is best to apply a little at a time. A small amount squeezed into the palms quickly warms, melting as it is applied. Because the mask is beneficial for the scalp, I like to massage into the roots.

I just love the natural smell of this treatment, it smells predominately of coconut oil, yum!

It is recommended to leave on at least 45 minutes before washing your hair. I actually applied the night before my shower, knowing that I was going to benefit from maximum results. A double shampoo is best to remove any excess oil. I always wash with a normal shampoo, then a toning shampoo anyway, so it wasn't any extra "effort" for me.

The result? Not only was my hair soft and silky to the touch, I had a shine to my hair that is hard to achieve when you have blonde hair. My hair, which is in desperate need for a trim, also benefited from more volume, which gave bounce and a more defined wave, rather than frizz.

What I am happy about is the fact that I am using a natural product on my hair. I am getting results without chemicals or any other not-so-nice nasties. The hair Rejuvenation Treatment is good for my hair.

Being gifted a product to review will not sway my blog post, honesty always. You can believe me when I say that this pre-shampoo treatment is a wonderful product.

    1. Thank you, Jas. It just fit so easily into my haircare routine, because I generally apply coconut oil to my hair as a weekly treatment, anyway xx
