Agent Provocateur- "Agent Provocateur For Women"

Agent Provocateur is a sample that I had purchased via My Perfume Samples. I'd put off using it for some time. Being a fave among many, I wanted to save it until I had used some of the other samples. 
Description "The composition starts strong and sharp with a spicy note of saffron. Warm floral notes of magnolia, Indian jasmine, and gardenia blend together with strong woodsy-chypre scent. There is very animalistic amber and musk notes in the base."

 My skin amps up the amber and musk in this perfume. I detect a spicy floral, but I find it gets a little lost in the powdery scent. It's like a powder, dare I say that grandma would wear. 

 I do, however, like the scent left on my clothes. Yes, powdery, but more of the soft floral, it's quite pleasant.

 I must say that this perfume was nothing like I thought it would be, I'm so glad that I bought a sample. No full sized purchase of Agent Provocatuer, I find it nice, but I want more from a perfume than "nice".

    Hi Michelle! I used to wear Agent Provocateaur many years ago and loved it. Its funny how our skin reacts with perfumes. I found it went a little powdery on me also. Not a fan of powdery scents, I like a nice clean musk, you know, so I smell like a real man lol. Loving your posts!

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
