St Patty's Day Nails

Obviously when it comes to St Patrick's Day the colour green comes to mind. So, I thought I would play with some green nail polishes to create a nail look.

 I began with a white nail polish base, using Models Inc."White". Then with 3 different shades of green and a dotting tool, I created a fun dotticure. Well, the Irish are a known to be a little"dotty", right? Kidding, of course! 

 Beginning with a darker to lighter green, I used Australis Nail Colour "Endless Star", Ulta3 "Jelly" and LA Colors Color Craze "Mint". For some sparkle I applied 2 coats of Kleancolor Nail Lacquer, which I bought in a set, and doesn't happen to have a label with name.


I don't actually celebrate St Patrick's Day, but I do love an excuse to create a theme based nail.

    I love this fun dotticure! St Patrick's Day is a great excuse to play with some green shades of nail polish, eye shadows and even lipstick! (In case you're wondering no, the green lipstick didn't look good on me and was wiped off pretty quick!)

      Lol, I thought about creating a makeup look, but just didn't have the time. Green lipstick is not a good look on me, either, hahaha :)

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
