Simple NOTD Sunday- China Glaze "Cast A Spell"

Searching through my polish stash to do this post, I decided to bypass the typical bright, intense colour, and thought I'd apply a dark colour for a change. Of course it couldn't be just any dark shade. A little shimmer drew me to China Glaze "Cast a Spell".

I adore this chic black gold. The shimmer is so beautiful and adds an elegance to the polish.

    Oooh, what a gorgeous shade! It looks so majestic :)

    For some reason, I really love my glitter nail polishes though removal is something I dread, my favourites are glittery/holographic shades and blues and greens and metallic silver...I don't like red nail polish for some reason though, I have no idea why!

    Oh, I totally agree with you! Glitter can be such a chore to remove, but it's so pretty! Holos are so beautiful, great pay off for less trouble removing. Red would look amazing on your nails, but then I love all shades of red polish :)

    Super classy Indie - I've never fancied black nail polish because it's just too drab, but this one has some zip to it. You chose a great background for the piccy too hon ♥

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
